FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you located?
We’re based locally in South Florida but we love traveling to document destination weddings.
How would you describe your shooting style?
We strive to shoot in a fun and relaxed manner while taking a documentary approach to capturing your wedding day as it unfolds.
Should we take engagement photos?
We see your engagement session similarly as you see your wedding dress or tux. You’re not going to try it on for the very first time the day of your wedding…you’re going to get it fitted, once maybe twice, so that it fits like a glove! Likewise we want you to feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera on your wedding day so an engagement session helps in doing so.
What is a “First Look” and should we do one?
A First Look is when a couple sees one another before the wedding ceremony in a very special and intimate way without all of their guests watching. This allows you to hug/kiss/laugh/cry and not feel like you have to hold back because everyone is present. Doing a first look also allows much more time for photos without feeling rushed or stressed, and many times is actually calming to have that time with your soul mate before the ceremony. Depending on the time of year or how late your ceremony starts, a First Look also enables you to have beautiful natural light photos while it is still light outside.
How can we see our photos after our wedding day?
Soon after your wedding we usually post a few of our favorite images on our Facebook page or on Instagram. We love posting previews in the meantime to hold you over until we are finished with all your images.
Do you take family formal photos during the wedding?
We take family formal photographs (right after the ceremony) at each and every wedding as these photos are with the most important people that surround you in life.
Do we receive all of our engagement and wedding photos?
All wedding collections include the high resolution images that are downloadable via your online gallery.
When & how do we receive our photos?
3-6 weeks after your wedding day you’ll receive your online gallery where you can view and download all your high resolution images. You can share your gallery with friends/family and order prints directly online that will be delivered right to your doorstep.
After we download our wedding photos can we post them on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)?
We really enjoy and encourage when our couples want to share their wedding photos on social media, but we also love when our couples include photo credit on their images with our info so that others who are drawn to our work can find us if needed.
Do recommend wedding albums?
We can’t stress enough how strongly we feel about wedding albums. If it weren’t for the album that your parents received on their wedding how would you be able to view and enjoy that special day? In 20-30 years your children aren’t going to look on Facebook or for the disc that your images are on, they’re going to want to see an album like you did for your parents wedding.
What is required to book my wedding date?
We require a signed contract and a 50% non refundable retainer.
Do you meet with your clients?
Yes of course we’d love to meet you…..but we’re always readily available via phone, skype, or Facetime. Today’s technology brings us closer to all of our out of state clients. If you prefer a little face to face time that can be arranged as well.
